Phew! It felt so good to get that off my chest. After completing my self-imposed 30 days without washing my face challenge (which I'd be remiss to not admit how incredibly hard it was to break the habit of sudsing up), I'm happy to report that my skin feels softer and much less irritated than before, but as the headline suggests I'm right back up to my old tricks again.

Look, I absolutely know what I'm doing is wrong and every dermatologist I've ever seen has urged me to reconsider but I love the way my skin feels right after I've washed it (with the wrong product, albeit). To me, tight equals clean, but I know it's tight because I've stripped every ounce of moisture away, right along with the dirt, oil, and makeup residue. Perhaps I'm a victim to advertising verbage? There aren't many amazing 'for normal skin' cleansers on the market, and every acne product available promises a deeper, more refreshing cleansing experience, all while removing blemishes and helping fight future breakouts. Think about it can you blame me?!

Am I the only one that shops outside of my skincare category? (Quelle horreur!)
