Here's A New Way To Wear Bangs (As Seen On Rooney Mara)--Do You Like It?

Is Rooney Mara the most talented bangs-wearer ever? Perhaps. As we've seen while she's been out and about promoting "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo", she finds all kinds of different ways to style her blunt bangs. And her latest look is one we really don't see too often ...
... center-parted short bangs.
Well, they're parted slightly off-center, but still, it's a very different hairstyle than the long-ish sideswept bangs we're used to seeing. What do you think of it? The first thing that popped into my head was that she looks like Charlie Chaplin. Also, I think the slick front of the hairstyle seems a bit disjoined with the braided rear view, as shown here:
Still, I vote that Rooney pulls off these slick, stark bangs. She has the look to make them work. But one question remains ...
