La Mer and Oceana Celebrate World Ocean Day

Today might be a gorgeous summer Friday (in N.Y.C., anyway), but it's also World Ocean Day, a cause close to luxe beauty company La Mer's heart. As a tribute to founder Dr. Max Huber's passion for the sea and the company's belief that marine botanicals (like Pacific Sea Kelp) have many health benefits that have yet to be fully explored, La Mer partnered with Oceana the world's largest international ocean-advocacy organization to support habitat protection and encourage sea exploration. The winner will receive get this a 12-day adventure along the northwest seaboard of North America and a year's supply of Crème de La Mer. Ten semifinalists will receive ,000 worth of La Mer products along with other prizes. Winners will be announced in September.
